Heya,

You can change your Nameservers to DigitalOcean ones and managed your DNS in your DigitalOcean’s control panel.

The Nameservers are:

  • ns1.digitalocean.com
  • ns2.digitalocean.com
  • ns3.digitalocean.com You can read more about that here:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/networking/dns/

and here

Hey there,

If your domain provider only allows nameserver pointing, here’s what you can do:

  1. Go to your domain registrar and set the nameservers to:

    ns1.digitalocean.com
    ns2.digitalocean.com
    ns3.digitalocean.com

  2. Add the domain to DigitalOcean:

    • Go to the Networking section in your DigitalOcean dashboard.
    • Click Domains, then add your domain.
  3. After adding the domain, create an A record pointing @ to your Droplet’s IP address. Optionally, add another A record for www pointing to the same IP.

That’s it! Once DNS propagation is complete (can take a few hours), your domain will point to your Droplet.

Hope that helps!

Heya, @stepcommunications

If you domain name registrar has limitations in terms of managing DNS records I’ll recommend you to switch to a different provider. You can point your nameservers to DigitalOcean and manage the DNS configuration from your control panel here:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/networking/dns/getting-started/dns-registrars/

Hope that this helps!
