I am trying to create my own proxies using DigitalOcean and Python for personal use. I have created the droplet and got the IP address, but I can not figure out how I’d open ports to use, since proxies are used in IP:PORT form. Is there anyway to do this using Python and the DigitalOcean library?

Hey @artyshoe,
Could you take a look at this answer, I have answered: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/questions/how-to-turn-droplet-into-https-proxy ?
For the question on the libraries, could you be a little more specific? Maybe give us an example and I will see what I can suggest. Meanwhile, check this URL with all the libraries on DO:
https://developers.digitalocean.com/libraries/
If you need an answer on how to open ports, then I recommend checking these links: https://www.tixati.com/optimize/open-ports-linux.html

I hope these resources are helpful and feel free to keep the conversation going!
Best regards,
