Greetings,
The version of git installed in my App Platform container is 1.17.2. I’m needing to use a newer version, 1.22 or greater. Is it possible to specify the git version the container uses? If so, how?
Grateful for any insight!

It’s not currently possible to customize the base OS packages within App Platform buildpacks. We’re considering options to offer that functionality. In the mean-time, building the container image via Dockerfile, or specifying an existing container image from the container registry should allow you to fully customize all packages in your app.
