I created a droplet to downsize our another droplet but since then we are not able to connect to our new droplet that we created for downsize purpose.

  1. We can'e access using public IP using browser.
  2. We can’t connect using putty
  3. We even not able to connect via Console option available at our digital ocean account. It show us the following errors:

error: no such device
error: no such partition
error: you need to load the kernel first

Please do the needful.

If you created a droplet but are unable to access this new droplet via it’s IP address or via the console I would recommend that you delete it an create a new one.

To help troubleshoot in more detail please let us know a bit more about what you’re doing:

1.) How are you attempting to downsize your old droplet?
2.) What OS or Image did you use to create this new droplet?

You may also want to open a ticket with our support team who can investigate if any issue occurred with the droplet creation you attempted.
