I am unabling to log into my account using putty

I am not sure if this is the tutorial you followed, if not I would recommend checking this one out.

If you did not set up your droplet with ssh-key based authentication you should receive an email with a default root password. With this you should be able to log in with the following:

Host: Your droplet’s IP Protocol: SSH Port: 22 User: root Password: Password that was emailed to you

When you first log in you will be prompted to change your password. After entering your password you will be asked:

• To enter the temporary password again.
• To enter a new password
• To re-type the new password

Once this is done you will have access to your shell.

Hello there,

I have set all the configuration as above into the PuTTy and followed the following steps.

• I click on the load it is prompting the new terminal window
• Now it asking for “Login as :” then I enter here - root
• Now it has asked for enter password and when I hit the enter it prompt as “Access denied”

Please help and provide me the solution for it…
