I have added both SSH keys and Let's Encrypt SSL to my droplet. Why is my 'Security' page showing me to 'Add SSH keys' and 'Add Certificate?

Posted on September 6, 2018

I have added both to my droplet. Both work. Do I need to add it again to overall account? Do I have to create another pair of SSH keys and SSL certificate?

Hey friend!

Great question. SSH keys that you add here will be available to automatically add to new droplets that you create (if you choose to). Certificates that you add here can be chosen to use on any load balancers that you create. These relate solely to the creation of new services. Hope that helps :)
