I've got a namecheap domain and a service on my droplet. How do I get that domain to point to my service?

I’m running ombi on my droplet. I would like a namecheap domain to point to that service. Meaning

http://www.customdomain.com > 111.222.333.444:1234

What is the easiest way to do that?

Hi there,

I just came across this question. One way to do so is to first add your Domain name to your DigitalOcean account, then update your DNS records so that your A record points to the Droplet’s IP address.

You can follow the steps on how to do that here:

https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/networking/dns/

Once your DNS has been updated, then you can update your nameservers via your NameCheap account to the DigitalOcean nameservers:

Then once the nameservers have been updated, you might have to wait a couple of hours for the DNS to propagate over the Globe.
