Image of small droplet restore to the bigger one. Pros and Cons?

I have created a small droplet (512MB / 1 CPU / 20GB SSD DISK / CentOS 32) for testing and configuration purposes. (even created a swap space)

My LLMP stack works good there. (Lighttpd)

Then I have created a bigger droplet (1GB / 1 CPU / 30GB SSD DISK) and restored the previous image here. It took ~5min, but everything seems to be OK. Bigger hdd, ram, etc. (even with my swap space)

So, what is the pros and cons of this approach? Is it OK to do so, - migrate my current configured system to the bigger machine in this way? Or, should I reinstall and reconfigure all my daemons on the bigger droplet from the scratch to make them run more “stable” or… what?

Had you gone from a 1 CPU droplet to a 4 CPU droplet, you would probably have been able to squeeze out a bit more performance by reconfiguring your services to use more cores. However, in this case you don’t need to do anything as your services will automatically take advantage of the extra memory.
