Hi there,

Myself Rajesh and am new to digital ocean. I would like to get a droplet ($40/mon) from digital ocean. Please clear my doubts below:

  1. Is an individual dedicated IP is provided to the droplet/s by digital ocean
  2. Does digital ocean provides additional dedicated IPs
  3. Is there a LIVE chat/call facility with digital ocean
  4. What is the minimum least time required by digital ocean support team to solve the server related issues?

1. Is an individual dedicated IP is provided to the droplet/s by digital ocean

Yes. Each droplet receives a single dedicated ipv4 address and if you enable ipv6 support it also is given 16 ipv6 addresses.

2. Does digital ocean provides additional dedicated IPs

We do not currently provide additional IPs.

3. Is there a LIVE chat/call facility with digital ocean

There is not but we can be reached by opening a support ticket via the control panel, by emailing support@, via twitter at @digitalocean, or on facebook. All of these are staffed 24/7

4. What is the minimum least time required by digital ocean support team to solve the server related issues?

There is no lead time requirement. If you encounter an issue, open a ticket with our support team. We aim to respond to any ticket within 15 minutes but at times when we see a high ticket volume it may be up to 1 hour.
