Is DO suitable for projects where data integrity/reliability is crucial?

I’m currently working on a web app which involves storing small amounts of data. However, all this data would cause a lot of trouble if lost. Redundancy isn’t advertised on the website; however, some service reviews point out that all DO servers are using RAID10.

Would you recommend DO for this scenario?

You can certainly host a high-reliability app on DigitalOcean. All servers run hardware RAID with different RAID levels, but in each case it requires multiple drive failures at the same time for any data loss to occur. <br> <br>You can be extra safe by <a href=“https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/digitalocean-backups-and-snapshots-explained”>enabling backups on your droplet</a> and <a href=“https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-choose-an-effective-backup-strategy-for-your-vps”>taking backups manually</a>. <br> <br>If your app is truly critical, you should set up a highly available setup using GlusterFS or similar programs if you want extra redundancy.
