Hello,
I was wondering if it’s possible to get any more specific ETA on when the AMS3 data center expansion is supposed to be finished, and thus when the Spaces registration in that region is supposed to be re-opened again.
(It’s totally fine if the date gets postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, but it would still be nice to know so I can plan which weekend I could possibly deploy my upcoming project – which is currently blocked by the inability to create Space in AMS3 :))

I had the same question and mailed support a while back in Oktober 2019 and got this answer:
Really sorry for the issue! We don’t have any confined date as such as of now for Spaces usage in AMS3 region. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Request you to please refer to below link: https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/spaces/overview/#regional-availability
