I would like to start using Digital Ocean Spaces for some clients. Personally I hate these ‘pay-as-you-go’ pricing models, but it seems to be the only offering out there these days. I was wondering if there is any way to monitor the usage of my spaces account programmatically, so that I can take action before things potentially get out of hand in case of malicious activity?

The support replied to me that there is currently no way to monitor bandwidth. However, they did say that they were working on it.

This is a great idea, I fully agree that it would super useful!
It looks like someone has had the same idea before and has posted it on our Product Ideas board. The best thing to do would be to head over and add your vote to it, as well as adding any additional information in the comments for exactly what you’d like to see implemented!
