Hello,
I tried to do create extension postgis; in my managed database, which worked, but when I connect now it says:
django.db.utils.OperationalError: could not open extension control file "/usr/share/postgresql/12/extension/postgis.control": No such file or directory
I tried looking for answers, and only thing that came up was 7 years old. So I figured I would ask again.
Thanks for a very impressive service… I use AWS day-to-day but am looking to move personal projects and new stuff to DO.
All the best,
Christian

Yes!
postgis, postgis_legacy, postgis_sfcgal, postgis_tiger_geocoder, postgis_topology and postgis_fdw are among the supported extensions for postgres managed databases.
For more context see the full list of supported extensions for postgresql managed dbs on DigitalOcean
This was an error on my part, it was my CI environment that didn’t have postgis - I am not able to delete this question, but please delete it because I confirmed that the extension works.
