Just installed the Centos 7 and installed/run the apache, I checked it's running but I cannot see the initial webpage of it on my webroswer

Posted on February 21, 2017

I followed the initial server setup and then LAMP step by step guide. after I ran the apache service, I was trying to connect it on my chrome by typing server’s ip but i can’t see the initial webpage but the “page cannot display”

Ping command is responsible. what else can I do for it?

I’m not familiar with CentOS, but I think the firewall is enabled by default, so you need to allow port 80 and maybe port 443 - if that’s your default ports in Apache. Edit - sorry, forgot the link: https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Network/IPTables
