Question

Kubernetes cluster can't pull images from Container Registry

I created a new container registry, but the k8s cluster isn’t allowed to pull images from it.

Failed to pull image "registry.digitalocean.com/syra-do/services/syra-live-gql:v0.0.12": rpc error: code = Unknown desc = Error response from daemon: Get https://registry.digitalocean.com/v2/syra-do/services/syra-live-gql/manifests/v0.0.12: unauthorized: authentication required

I gave the k8s cluster read permission to the registry, via the web dashboard and it seems like all secrets on the cluster are in order.

Is there anything else to do?

Hi there,

It looks like something might be wrong with the secrets.

I could suggest following the steps from the documentation here on how to integrate the Private DigitalOcean Docker Registry with Kubernetes:

https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/container-registry/how-to/use-registry-docker-kubernetes/

Regards,
