Limit per IP bandwidth

Posted on March 7, 2014

I am running a minecraft server and I do not think any IP should use more than 50MB of data at any given time, it is a clear sign of a DDoS.

Is there a way such that my server automatically disconnects the IPs which are pushing more than 50 MB of data?

The whole point of a DDoS is that its distributed, its not the volume, its the number of connections, so why dont you limit the max number of established tcp connections instead?
