NYC3 contains some legacy hardware that does not support block storage volumes. Attach volumes to NYC3 Droplets during creation to guarantee volume support.
This according to your introduction. Is it better to try and move the droplet to nyc1 or to ignore the above advice and try it out anyway? I need to keep the ip address. Would it be easier to snapshot the droplet and create a new one on nyc1 and attach a volume? Not sure which would be best in the long run. I need to be able to increase storage, never decrease. Larger droplet instead? Seems like it would be easier to back up a volume and keep it separate from the droplet itself. Thx.
