Seems that one click install of applications only available at Droplet creation time?
How about the use case of customers who virtual host? One click seems to have a limitation in that it only lets the customer install apps into one domain/host. Anything beyond that, the customer has to install the apps manually per virtual host.

Our one-click images are complete environments including the OS and software. Because of this you are able to select a one-click image instead of a stock OS image. Since the one-clicks are not scripts that modify your droplet but are rather complete images themselves there is nothing that can be applied to an already running droplet aside from rebuilding it.
