Our Company is being purchased what is the process to Transfer ownership of our droplets? In your terms of service it states:
These Terms of Service are personal to you, and are not assignable, transferable or sublicensable by you except with our prior written consent.
What is the process when your company is purchased? Is there a form to fill out akin to an assumption of rights?
Please let me know,
Thank you,
JP

Greetings!
Great question. The thing we’re really trying to avoid is this: Someone who creates accounts and sells them to others who would normally not be able to sign up for our service (previous policy violations, anti-fraud filters, etc). For you to hand over your account to a new owner for your business, this is not something we intend to stand in the way of.
Your account is considered to be owned by the current active billing profile. So keep your account safe, use two-factor authentication at all times, and simply add a new billing profile and remove old ones as necessary. That should feel like a fairly natural process and you do not need any permission from us to see it go through without any interruption by us.
