PHP FastCGI + APC + Memcache +Varnish then install W3total cache + DB cache reloaded fix plugins altogether

Posted on November 29, 2013

Hello!

I will soon move my wordpress site to Digital Ocean, and after reading some tutorials, i have a doubt:

I will install LAMP on Ubuntu

Will it be fast and nice to install PHP FastCGI + APC + Memcache +Varnish then install W3total cache + DB cache reloaded fix plugins altogether.

Is this too much cache? Will they get conflicted with each other? Will it rock?

Thanks so much for your help!!!

Nice <br>

If you want a WordPress site that rocks, dump Apache in favor of Nginx and check out <a href=“https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-install-wordpress-nginx-php-and-varnish-on-ubuntu-12-04”>How To Install Wordpress, Nginx, PHP, and Varnish on Ubuntu 12.04</a>.

Installing Ngix just like the link you posted, then i won’t need the fastcgi, apc stuff? <br> <br>Actually im migrating the site using this link as my tutorial https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-install-wordpress-nginx-php-and-varnish-on-ubuntu-12-04 <br> <br>If i just isntall Ngix instead of Apache and continue folowing those instructions will i be fine?
