Plesk Licence - Provider requesting VPS platform

Posted on January 21, 2015

I’m purchasing a Plesk 12 licence, and the provider is requesting the VPS platform the licence will be used on. The options are;

  • Virtuozzo
  • KVM
  • XEN
  • VMWare
  • MicroSoft Hyper-V
  • Parallels Server
  • OpenVZ

Does it matter which I choose?

I already have Plesk 12 installed and running a demo licence from Parallels on my Droplet. They didn’t ask which platform.
