Postfix 550 error

I have postfix installed and added MX record to my DNS. When I try to send an email from that VM under a non root account I get: : host blah.com[123.147.240.200] said: 550-Verification failed for 550-No Such User Here 550 Sender verify failed

Did you follow a particular guide/tutorial when you installed Postfix? If so, which one?

What happens when you try sending mail from the root account?

You may also what to run some tests with any one of the myriad of DNS configuration-testing tools available online.

This was resolved on IRC, the problem was the 550 was being thrown by the REMOTE host. The local configuration was OK.
