I have postfix installed and added MX record to my DNS.
When I try to send an email from that VM under a non root account I get:
bob@blah.com: host blah.com[123.147.240.200] said: 550-Verification failed for bob@bluedoorpottery.com 550-No Such User Here 550 Sender verify failed

Did you follow a particular guide/tutorial when you installed Postfix? If so, which one? <br> <br>What happens when you try sending mail from the root account? <br> <br>You may also what to run some tests with any one of the myriad of DNS configuration-testing tools available online.
This was resolved on IRC, the problem was the 550 was being thrown by the REMOTE host. The local configuration was OK.
