I used postfix with virtuals on Ubuntu 12.04. Now I can’t seems to find that article with postfix virtuals but I have the alias https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-and-configure-postfix-as-a-send-only-smtp-server-on-ubuntu-16-04 Which way to use if I only wants to forward emails to gmail from my VPS?

Are you using multiple domains? If not, just use aliases, since it’s much easier to manage.
I have some domains pointing at my VPS and they all have email addresses. So virtual is a must ?
