I"m running a video sharing service on a droplet and it was working fine for quiet some time, recently streaming the videos to the mobile application is getting slower as we are getting more users “videos are stored on the droplet” and i can see nothing abnormal on the droplet dashboard metrics
what tools are there to monitor the traffic caused by the video streaming and what are the suggested solutions for this can Block volumes be helpful in this case ?

You can definitely check the block storage volumes as a possible solution. Volumes are Block Storage product, allowing you to attach additional SSD to the Droplet. The performance should be the same as on a normal droplet.

I will also recommend you to check our Spaces, because a lot of users use them for streaming video. Spaces are Object Storage product. Spaces aren’t associated with any Droplet, you can access anywhere, using any S3-compatible utility. Spaces are ideal for storing static, unstructured data like audio, video, and images as well as large amounts of text. You’d need to access it with an S3 compatible client or library, or use the Spaces API to access it directly.
