What is the reason for this report?

System restart and droplet stopped working

I got a message to update and upgrade my dependencies and i used:

apt update && apt upgrade -y

reboot

then my node went dark, I cannot power it off, i also cannot do a power cycle on it.

Do i have to make a new droplet using a backup?

What happens when you ping the IP address of your droplet? Have you tried to access the droplet using the console from your DigitalOcean console? Once you’re logged in you can check if all services are up and running.
