Scale up as you grow — whether you're running one virtual machine or ten thousand.

From GPU-powered inference and Kubernetes to managed databases and storage, get everything you need to build, scale, and deploy intelligent applications.

I’ve recently spun out a new droplet in your Singapore data center. When I try to ping ‘fixer.io’ (or any action to that address like curl, wget, lynx), it always resulting connection timeout. If I try accessing google, other sites, or even my other droplet, the result is success.
When I try to traceroute to fixer.io, it gives this result:
kuro@meili-v1:~# traceroute fixer.io
traceroute to fixer.io (23.246.243.2), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets

This doesn’t happen to my old droplet (same data center, DO’s Singapore). That old droplet showing this when doing traceroute:
kuro@rd-devel:~# traceroute fixer.io

For comparison, my network interface setting are like this: new droplet, which has timeout issue:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
dns-nameservers 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 206.189.40.193/20
gateway 206.189.32.1
# control-alias eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 10.15.0.6/16
while old droplet, which can call “fixer.io” successfully has this setting:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
dns-nameservers 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 188.166.210.197
gateway 188.166.208.1
netmask 255.255.240.0
# control-alias eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 10.15.0.5
netmask 255.255.0.0
So what exactly happen here? Why the new droplet cannot access “fixer.io” while old droplet can? What exactly cause the problem?
