Hello
I purchased a droplet and set it up with Ubuntu, but i decided to switch to Debian 9.1, so i choose the rebuild option and selected Debian, then after issuing the command “apt-get update” i can see repositories from Ubuntu, why is that and how i can fix that?
Also if i would choose the option to destroy this droplet, i would have to create new one and again be charged?

Did you select the droplet in the control panel, click the Destroy menu, and select “Debian 9.1” as image, and clicked Rebuild? If yes, then yes, it will completely destroy the old droplet and delete everything, and replace it with the new image.
Which repositories do you see? Check your apt sources located here:
/etc/apt/
