Question
Unable to 'apt update' my Ubuntu 19.04
I’m not sure where to start; Why doesn’t apt update
work or why can’t I do-release-upgrade
?
This is what I see when I ssh in:

Ubuntu 19.04 isn’t even on this chart: https://ubuntu.com/about/release-cycle
Ubuntu 19.10 is there so let’s I’d like to upgrade to that first. But how???
What do I need to do to “unbreak” apt update
?

I was able to get past this by editing my /etc/apt/sources.list as follows:
change all occurrences of archive.ubuntu.com to old-releases.ubuntu.com
for example …
from this:
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu disco main universe multiverse restricted
to this
deb http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu disco main universe multiverse restricted
Note: you (and me) really should update to the newer Ubuntu version … yeah… tomorrow
