Hi there @atavurrahaman,

You would need to either edit your DNS zone via your GoDaddy account and set your A record to point to your DigitalOcean Droplet IP address.

Or you would need to change your Domain name Nameservers to the DigitalOcean Nameservers:

For more information on how to do that you can take a look at this tutorial here:

Once you’ve then changed your Nameservers, you will be able to manage your DNS zone via your DigitalOcean control panel and update your A record through there.

Hope that this helps!

DNS is the naming system that is used to bind a domain name to a web server. In this guide, we will change the nameservers for a domain that we have registered and point it to a DigitalOcean Droplet.
  • Hi Bobby, I am having the same issue described above (mattermost domain to be: ). I have tried multiple times using the one click install to create a mattermost droplet, but cannot ever get it to work.

    • Hi there @joelmoore,

What is the exact error that you get when you give this a try?

Also note that once you make your DNS change, it can take up to 24 hours for the DNS to propagate over the Globe before you could see your actual changes.
