Question

vangrant and droplents

Posted May 1, 2014 988 views
I'm a little confused. If i use vagrant on my local machine to set everything up, how can I then deploy that set-up as a droplet? All the tutorial seem to create droplets with vigrant installed on them which then use virtualbox which has ubuntu installed on that. That seems a bit redundant. Can anyone clarify this?

For deploying to DigitalOcean using Vagrant, I'd look at using this provider plugin:

There's a tutorial covering it here:

Vagrant is a powerful open source software for configuring and deploying multiple development environments. Read through this tutorial to use DigitalOcean as your provider on an Ubuntu 12.10 VPS.
