Root password has been mailed to you when the VM was created. You should use root@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Hi, as @TaiSHi said, root password has mailed when your create your droplet. After this, just access your server with this command:
ssh root@ip-adress
So, it will want your password (put the password in mail) and after this, a new password (that you can type what you want).
