I am wondering what is the schedule for auto-backups for droplets that were created in Digitalocean with backups enabled? I am seeing my droplet not doing a backup for a few days then doing it on alternate days. Aren’t backups ideally taken everyday?

Backups are done every few days. I’ve gone 8 days between a backup before, I’ve also had them done three days in a row. The backups are nice to have but don’t count on them if something goes wrong. If your data is that important you should have other offsite backups.
