I want to set a Client (android) - Server app which saves the info to a data base and fetch it when needed.
and i’m not sure which web server i should go with? current started with Glassfish but heard that Apache tomcat is more common.
the server should handle large number of requests and responds (DB is mysql)
Will appreciate if you can share what you think is best in this case (advantage and disadvantage)
thank you!

Depends on what you’re doing, but I recommend NGINX for almost anything, It’s blazing fast, uses very little resources and is quite simple to use once you’ve gotten the hang of things!
I’d say whichever you are already most comfortable with. In my personal case I would go with Apache Tomcat but, as you can see by UKn0wMe’s post not everyone will agree :) I’m not at all familiar with NGINIX so I really cannot speak to the benefits you may gain by using one or the other.
