Why is my domain mapping still pointing to WordPress even if I deleted my WP account almost 2 months ago and I have already reset the records here on DigitalOcean ??

Your domain name is still using Wordpress Nameservers, this is why you are still seeing the old website.
To fix that you can change your Nameservers to DigitalOcean’s Nameservers and start managing your DNS records via your DigitalOcean’s Control Panel. Here is a step by step tutorial on how to make that change:
