I deployed a very simple NodeJS app on a $5 server and I am experiencing serious latency issues. A couple of requests are fine but then it becomes almost unreachable, both SSH and HTTP. Any tips on what’s going?

It seems like the Application you have created is very heavy and its processes are causing high load on your Droplet. In my eyes, there are two options, the first one is to optimize your Application, and the second to upgrade your Droplet.
