I’ve a cronjob in which I create snapshots every midnight and I keep them for three days. By that I mean that everytime I create a new snapshot I delete the one from 3 days ago.
Will I be billed for every snapshot I created or only for those which I keep in the end of the month?

The billing is pro-rated based on an hourly rate like droplet charges are. Storage for each image would only be for the time it actually existed so if you only ever have 3 images at a time your bill should be roughly the same as if you just had 3 images there the whole month without the rotation.
