Wordpress - White screen of death, after activating or uploading a theme.

Hello, i have a Wordpress installation running on Ubuntu 14.04, everything is working fine, except when i try to activate this theme on my Wordpress panel, the theme is Working well, because i have tested in my localhost XAMPP, so is probably a memory issue.

In the theme documentation, they asked my to do something’s before installing the theme, check this image:

I done everything, them rebooted my Apache. But i’m still unable to install the theme.

If i try to install the theme, via Wordpress panel, uploading a .zip file, get the following error:

*File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by postmaxsize being defined as smaller than uploadmaxfilesize in php.ini.

If i upload the theme via SFTP, and then try to activate the theme, i get the white screen of death, with no errors.

Any ideas?

Are you seeing anything in your Apache error logs? Run:

cat /var/log/apache2/error.log

Yes, a lot of errors most of them generated by the plugin “SSH SFTP Updater Support”, and in the case the error is “Array to string conversion …”, i dont think is related with the theme not being activated.

Should i look for something in special?

same problem … =/

if anyone knows anything about that, let me know …
