In order to use the App Platform with Cloudflare, you have to turn off the proxying on the CNAME in Cloudflare.
Is there any way to configure the app platform so I can use Cloudflare with the DNS proxy setting ON?
Disabling the proxying means that the traffic is not flowing through Cloudflare so the traffic is not being protected by them (e.g. against DDOS etc.).
Or is my understanding of this wrong?

Hi there,
The DigitalOcean App Platform uses Cloudflare out of the box so there should be no need to add the extra proxying.
But in general this should also work with the default Cloudflare proxying as well, do you get any specific errors when you try to set this up?
One thing that you might have to do is to set the SSL/TLS encryption mode to flexible. Let me know if this works! If not feel free to share the exact error that you are getting.
Best,
Bobby
