Are there any plans to add support for NoSQL in managed databases?

I was wondering since you are providing MySQL, Postgres, and Redis as a managed database if there are any plans to add one of the popular NoSQL databases to the list (Elasticsearch or Mongo).

That would really be awesome and would then cover all the needs one could have.

Redis is NoSql. But still Mongo would be nice, also the whole process of buying and connecting managed databases needs to be a lot easier and improved then it is cureently, I want to be able to select droplets from a dropdown where to connect my DB to, currently a lot of comandline work is to do, make it easier inside the dashboard.

Hey @mitjafelicijan,

Great idea, sounds like it’d be super useful!

It looks like someone has had the same idea before and has posted it on our Product Ideas board. The best thing to do would be to head over and add your vote to it, as well as adding any additional information in the comments for exactly what you’d like to see implemented!

Hope that helps! - Alex.
