Hello,
We would like to know if there are any resource usage limits, like a maximum number of droplets per account or total aggregated RAM allocated for all droplets. It is a common practice for cloud providers with pay-as-you-go billing to implement some default limits to prevent system abuse.
Also, no rate limits are mentioned in your API documentation.

We do limit the number of droplets that a customer can run and we upgrade that limit as you begin to more. <br> <br>We just need to verify that the account is legitimate and then the limits are raised. <br> <br>If you run into any limits please open a support ticket and we’ll work with you to get it raised. <br> <br>Thanks
Apparently things have changed. Digitalocean no longer seems willing to increase the initial limit. Right now as you could tell we do have limitations in place in terms of the amount of droplets you can create. Currently we cannot facilitate droplet increases but, do have plan in the future to allow users to increase that amount.
