This is one of those “icing on the cake” aspects of the API that would be nice, but not really crucial. For our office, in particular, the ability to share images between team members has been absolutely life changing, in the realm of productivity, at least. It’d be interesting to automate the requests for specialized image swapping, internally. I see a lot of cool applications for 3rd party applications, as well.

Glad to hear that image transfers have been useful for you! The ability to transfer snapshots between users is on the roadmap. You can subscribe to this GitHub issue to keep up to date. In general, if you have any feedback on the new API, please open an issue over there. We’re still trying to gather as much user feedback as possible while it is in beta.
