Let’s say I purchase the domain example.com
And I have a website setup for https://example.com and https://www.example.com
Now I want to get an email like support@example.com or me@example.com
Is it possible to use the same domain for both?
I have a domain name that I bought on Namecheap and I have a website using it but I want mail too
Thanks for your time!

Hello there,
Yes, this is totally fine. You can use your domain for emails and building a site using it at the same time.
You can manage the DNS via Namecheap or via any other provider as well. The DNS record that is responsible for the emails is the MX records and the one which you need to point to the IP address of the server where the site is hosted is the A record.
If you’re hosting your site on DigitalOcean droplet and you want to set up email accounts this is fine. You can also create email accounts and host them on Gmail as well. You can check this article:
Hope that this makes sense, Regards, Alex
