can't find a place to add MX record

Posted on December 29, 2014

hello all: I’ve installed iRedMail, but when I tried to follow this link (https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-iredmail-on-ubuntu-12-04-x64) to add MX record, I can’t find it under the DNS tab in my control panel.

I actually used another vendor’s DNS server for my domain name translation. I don’t know how to migrate to DO’s DNS servers.

Thanks, Jon

If not using DO dns you just need to add the MX record to your current host. Instructions will very depending on who is hosting your dns. Moving you dns to DO in not required!
