Does digitalocean allow you to host your own reverse dns record? I can only seem to get mine working locally.

Any help would be great, Thanks

@fran.mcnamee PTR records are not related to your domain’s DNS nameservers - they are set for the IP address itself.

Mine is working with an external DNS. Additionally to the PTR record on DO I created an A record in my DNS so it works both ways. However, I don’t know if it’s because of that.

Oh, what I meant was that I host my dns myself and I can’t get the reverse dns working, I don’t use digital oceans dns. <br>Sorry if my choice of words for my question wasn’t great!
