Does digitalocean allow you to host your own reverse dns record? I can only seem to get mine working locally. Any help would be great, Thanks

rDNS is automatically configured for your IPs based on the hostname that you provide for your virtual server.
Oh, what I meant was that I host my dns myself and I can't get the reverse dns working, I don't use digital oceans dns.
Sorry if my choice of words for my question wasn't great!
Mine is working with an external DNS. Additionally to the PTR record on DO I created an A record in my DNS so it works both ways. However, I don't know if it's because of that.
@fran.mcnamee PTR records are not related to your domain's DNS nameservers - they are set for the IP address itself.
