Having just enabled Secure sign-in for our team account I was wondering if DigitalOcean works with Google Groups as defined in G Suite. Our use case is that we have a developers groups and an admin group. We’d like to give our developers the “Member” role, and our admins the “Owner” role but we don’t want to have to add each and every member of our team individually. Instead we only want to add the Google Group email addresses. Is this possible?

Currently, DigitalOcean does not directly support Google Groups for defining team roles. However, you can use DigitalOcean’s Teams feature to create similar functionality. You’ll need to add the individual members of your Google Groups to their respective roles manually within your DigitalOcean team. Under the “Members” tab, assign the role of “Member” to your developers and “Owner” to your admins.
