hi i have Centos 5.11 and i want to upgrade it to 6 then 7 any idea how to do that ?

Hey there,
It’s not possible to upgrade CentOS/RHEL distros like that. There are 7 years that span between the release of CentOS 5 and 7, so many large changes have happened between the major versions. The best path forward would be to configure a new CentOS 7 server and migrate your data to it.
