How long can a cron be allowed to run?

I’m re-arranging the folder structure of folders I have in the bucket on Digital Ocean. The data is around 99GB. If I run the cron, it’s going to run for a while?

If the cron can’t run for a day because of settings on DigitalOcean, what are other alternatives? Any advice will be helpful.

I’m assuming that “bucket” means “spaces” so i’ll post this link https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/spaces/resources/performance-tips/ . Sorry if this isn’t helpful but it is all i could find with the limited info in the above post.

So the limiting factor i’m seeing there is the requests per timeframe which is 200 req/s. I’ve no idea if moving stuff around inside the bucket falls into that limit but my best bet is that it most likely will as the main limiting factor of these things is the disk speed not the pipes.
