However i’d like to attach it to the CNAME record. How can i go about doing this please?
Thank you.

Hello, @Kay86
If the CNAME record is pointed to your droplet then you can go ahead with the SSL installation on the droplet itself. The DNS part of the process is ensuring that the CNAME record is pointed to the droplet and once the DNS has propagated you can go ahead with the actual installation.
If you can share more details about the droplet configuration like OS and web server in use I can share more details about the installation process.
Regards, Alex
Hi Alex
Before moving my domain to DO’s DNS management i was using cloudflare where they provided me SSL wildcard to use for my domain. I was able to connect to my droplet here at DO with 1 subdomain (CNAME) and connect the second subdomain (CNAME) to Google Bucket Storage.
I have now moved away from CloudFlare to use DO’s DNS management. So the setup is slightly similar, i have successfully pointed 1 subdomain to DO’s droplet storage with LE cert via the CDN setup however having created a LE cert for the second domain i am not able to make it work with CDN here at DO, maybe it’s because i already have one setup?
If i got into the CDN part were my first sub domain is setup it only gives me the option to replace it which is not what i want to do.
So within my DO DNS management I have connected 1 sub domain (CNAME) to my droplet storage here at DO and it is working as expected.
Although the second subdomain is setup within the DO’s DNS and has an LE certificate attached with DO i still cannot get it pull the image from google bucket, it works with HTTP but not with HTTPS…
Your help would be much much appreciated.
