I am new to Digital Ocean. Basically I want to setup a staging site so I can make some larger edits. I am wondering if I create a snapshot and spin up a new droplet will it share the same database as the original droplet? It will provide me with a new IP but can I point a sub domain to the new droplet? And how can I migrate the two sites once I am done with my updates?
